A loan of $300 helped to purchase a variety of fish, including snapper, lonja, tuna, catfish and sea bass, among others, and also to purchase a larger scale.

Maria Irma's story

María is 50 years old and lives with her two young children. They are her daily motivation for moving forward and getting up in the morning with new hopes for her life, and with the desire that they will not lack for anything and that she will be an exemplary mother for her children.

She works selling fish. Thanks to her manner with her customers, she has obtained good references from them, as they feel that she is responsible, kind, attentive, and very hardworking. She is the only one who works in her household, and she is responsible for her children always having something to eat.

María wants to purchase more raw material – meaning more fish – because her clients ask for types of fish, and she doesn’t have the resources to purchase everything she is asked for. It’s for this reason that she is requesting a loan from INTEGRAL to purchase fish, including snapper, lonja, tuna, catfish, and sea bass, among others, and also to buy a larger scale. She happily hopes that this year, she will be as blessed as in the previous one and receive the help that she has so wished for.

She trusts in God that she will continue being a mother who is an example that her children see every day, and that in this way, she will be able to fulfill her expectations.
