Maria Elena's story

María Elena, 41, has an 11-year-old daughter. She sells daily consumption items like snacks, soft-drinks, juices, rice, beans, corn, pastas and a variety of other products. She’s been in business 12 years. She started to sell chicken too which adds to her income. She hires a young lady to help her twice a week when she attends church. She’s happy with the results and with the blessings she’s had in her life and business and hopes to continue growing to help her husband with household economy and her daughter who has started basic schooling. She’s asking for the loan to buy food items.
