Enoch's story

Enoch is a resident of the Malindi area, in Coast province, Kenya. He is married and has two children, who are in school.

Enoch is a business man and owns a retail shop, a business that he has been running for two years. He began the business with funds that he received from his friends. In this shop, he sells goods like paraffin, sugar and flour to his customers. His main business challenge is price fluctuations.

He learned about Milango from other clients of the institution. He joined with an aim of accessing credit to improve the operation of his business. Enoch is applying for a loan of 41,850 Kenyan shillings to purchase inventory for his shop, like paraffin, sugar and flour, for resale. The extra income from the loan will be added to his savings, to improve on the living standard.

Enoch aspires to own other business centers and to plan for his children’s education with much security.
