A loan of $250 helped to add stock of retail items like shoes, plates, cups, basins, combs, etc.

Zipporah's story

Zipporah is a resident of Mariakani, Kenya. She is a married mother of two school-going children. She is a farmer and has been in the business for three years. She was initially carrying out farming full-time, but after a certain sale, she used the proceeds as capital for a retail shop. The shop mainly deals in assorted plastic and household items.

Zipporah was introduced to Milango by her friends. She is applying for a loan of 21,050 Kenya shillings to purchase additional stock of retail items like shoes, plates, cups, basins, combs, etc.

She intends to save the additional income for future projects. Her main ambition is to open a wholesale shop.
