Araba operates a chop bar (where a variety of African dishes are sold) and also produces charcoal for sale. Araba works in Waakrom, near Cape Coast, and has done so for 2 years now. Araba is a single parent and has 4 children. She uses her income to feed her family and pay her children's school fees. Araba will use her loan to purchase supplies and the necessary food ingredients to prepare and operate her chop bar, and also to purchase fire wood necessary for the production of charcoal. With the new profits, Araba plans to expand her business.
