A loan of $1,200 helped to buy equipment for producing milk-sour and meat products.

Kurbon's story

Kurbon A. lives in Asht, Tajikistan, and employs three people on his farm, where he grows dehkan and raises livestock. His business is stable and he has been able to pay back previous loans, which were used to buy pedigree bulls and other livestock. Kurbon dreams of having a large flock one day, and therefore wants to open a trading outlet to sell meat and milk-sour products. Therefore, he has applied for a loan of $1,200 for ten months, which will be used to buy the equipment necessary for producing commercially valuable milk-sour and meat products.
