Burmakan's story

Burmakan is 46 years old, married, and has a son who is currently a university student. Burmakan has secondary education. She is a very calm and enterprising woman. As the main source of income for her family, Burmakan has been raising livestock since 2002, as well as growing crops since 1992, having started her business with a sum of 20,000 som. Thanks to her hard work, Burmakan's herd currently includes 2 cows and 21 goats and sheep, and she also works 3.6 hectares of land where she annually grows beans and perennial grasses. Her monthly profits total approximately 5,000 som and allow her to pay for her son's education.

In order to continue developing her business, Burmakan has turned to Bai Tushum & Partners for a loan of 60,000 som (KGS) to buy 2 cows. She plans to invest her profits from this loan into further growth of her business by expanding her activities. Next year she would like to repair her house and hold a wedding for her son.
