A loan of $500 helped to buy blocks, cement, iron, and sand, and to pay laborers for home repairs.

Gloria Maria's story

Gloria continues to work in the school as a janitor and for many years she has sold popular fried food outside her house at night. This grand sacrifice she makes to advance her children. Gloria can count on the help of her husband who works with her in the same school as a security guard.

With this new loan she will rebuild a house wall that is presently covered with used zinc sheeting that has rusted. Gloria has taken maximum advantage of past loans to construct her home. On this occasion, she wishes to buy blocks, cement, iron and sand, and pay workers for, little by little, finishing these improvements on her home.
