Florecitas Group's story

Emiliana is a single mother who is 24 years old. She didn’t have the opportunity to attend school. She has two small children. She makes a living in the business of selling new and used clothing and traditional clothing for women in the community market. She started this business with the goal of improving her living conditions and having a stable business. To date she has seven years of experience.

She has organized a group of woman and she is requesting a loan that she will use to buy merchandise which consists of traditional woven skirts, blouses, waist sashes, blankets, etc. She hopes to continue improving her business so that in the future she will have a large business.

The rest of the members of the group also make a living in the business of selling new and used clothing. Two of the people in the photo did not qualify for a loan.
