A loan of $800 helped to buy furniture and supplies for her clinic.

Jackeline's story

Jackelin, 30, is a hardworking, enterprising woman in addition to being cheerful and cordial with people. She’s married to Justo who is a nurse technician and father of their only child. They are comfortably living in a house of their own.

The activity Jackelin carries out is dental care. To do so, she furnished space at home where she installed a drug store and dental clinic where she graciously and cordially tends to her clients offering them special promotions according to their preferences; she’s making her client roster grow this way.

She started out more than five years ago with her own capital and with support from her spouse who helps her take care of clients. She considers her business to be quite profitable because of the good profits it nets since her small clinic is quite well attended.

Before starting this business, she did not have any income of her own and spent all her time studying. With support from her spouse, she decided to start her business hoping to become a prosperous businesswoman and to help with household expenses.

She hopes to be able to expand the business and buy new instruments for her clinic. Therefore, this will be MFP loan #8. She’s happy and grateful to know that she will be able to count on financial support to carry out her plans. On the other hand, she comments that she feels comfortable in her communal bank because she knows the members and considers them to be kind, mutually supportive people.

She will use the requested 2,000 new soles to buy supplies and tools for her clinic as well as furniture for the waiting room to provide more comfort for her clients.
