Taleb Jan's story

Taleb Jan, son of S. N., is 33 years old. He returned to his home country of Afghanistan two years ago. During the war in Afghanistan, he was not able to continue his education in Pakistan because he encountered numerous financial problems while he was living there.

Fortunately, however, now he is the owner of a small shop near his house in the Shewa district. He wants to improve this small business and to generate a nice income from the shop, so he is requesting a loan in the amount of $1,100 (50,000 Afghanis) to buy many things for his shop and to thereby increase his income.
