A loan of $625 helped to buy feed and medicines for her pigs.

Lomela's story

As a married parent of three children, Lomela works hard to support her family.

She has a business raising pigs in the Philippines, and also earns additional income from clothing sales. Lomela is borrowing PHP 25,000 through NWTF to buy feed and medicines for her pigs.

Lomela has been sustaining her business activities through her past nine loans from NWTF and more recently, through Kiva. She hopes that her hard work will help her attain her dream: to save money to expand her business and continue to send her children to college.
