A loan of $475 helped a member to buy more perfumes and incense for resale.

Bshair Group's story

The Bashair group consists five female ladies from Hodidah, Yemen. Each member has her own type of business. They have requested a group loan of 100,000 YER, and they will hold each other accountable for a loan repayment. Afraq is a 31-year-old mother of 6 children, most of them are in school. The income of her previous type of job was not enough to cover her children's school fees and the other important household expense requirements and made her unable to dedicate enough time for her kids. Now she has shifted to a more profitable business by selling perfumes and incense. So, she is asking for a loan of 20,000 YER from AMB in order to start up her business. She will use this loan to buy more perfumes and incense for resale. Her dream is to one day diversify her business.
