Samen is 37 years old. She is married and resides with her husband and four children in Kampong Chhnang Province, Cambodia. She is a homemaker. Her husband, who is beside her in the picture, purchases and resells cattle. He makes an income of $30 every day. One of her children is a garment worker who earns $4 each day. In order to improve her husband’s business, Samen requests a loan of $1000 to purchase more cattle to resell. This money will help her husband expand his business and earn more profit for the family. In the future, she would like to expand her business overseas and help her children attend higher education.
