Ena Elizabeth's story

Ena is a 29-year-old-woman. She lives in the city of Ica with her husband and three small children whom she loves and are her main reason for living. She is a very kind, hard-working, and enthusiastic person. Along with her husband, she devotes all of her efforts to keep her family going. Unfortunately, because of a lack of economic resources and the need to work, Ena couldn't study professional secretarial courses, but she would have very much liked to have been able to do so. In her spare time, she likes to cook a delicious arroz chuafa to share with her family.

On her own initiative, and with much determination and dedication, Ena works in her small business selling groceries. She works everyday from the early hours of the morning and can do so for approximately 12 hours. She feels comfortable doing her work and she believes it is going well due to the good prices and polite service that she offers to her customers. Ena is very grateful for the Kiva lenders, since thanks to the provided assistance, she will be able to buy a large quantity of groceries and beverages. This way, she will have her business well stocked, and she will be able to take care of more customers so she will keep working and exerting herself in order to accomplish her great dream of seeing her children become good professionals.
