A loan of $800 helped to buy manure and fertilizers.

Guillermo Enrique's story

Guillermo is hardworking and has a contagious charisma. He lives in the city of Ica, which is known for its warm and welcoming climate and for its agriculture. Guillermo lives with his partner and together they have a one year old child whom they love very much and who gives them the strength each day to be able to continue on and give him a better life.

Guillermo works daily as a farmer. He currently has a parcel of pecans. He works around 8 hours per day and believes that his business is going well because he is very responsible and above all because it is what he likes to do.

Guillermo is very appreciative of the Kiva lenders since thanks to their help he can purchase fertilizer and manure to be able to maintain his pecan crop. In this way he can have a better harvest and continue fighting every day to be able to have his biggest dream: to give a good education to his son and to be a great farmer.
