A loan of $600 helped to buy organic compost.

Adela's story

Adela is a hard-working woman of 37. She lives with her children, whom she cares for in her own house. Adela is an independent woman, since she cares for her children alone. Her principal endeavor is rewarded by growing basic products such as corn and potatoes, which she plants with great care, and she constantly cleans out the weeds that grow between the furrows. On the other hand, what bothers her are the pests that arrive in her fields as a result of the cold location. She furthermore comments that thanks to the good management of her fields, she can counteract the problems caused by these dangerous bacteria. Thanks to this, she obtains good earnings with the harvest of her crops. Now she wants to improve the quality of their feeding to be able to receive a more equitable price for her crops. This is her fourth loan with MFP, where she feels that she has progressed and is happy, since she hopes to obtain the loan to continue with her goals. Furthermore, she promises to make her payments punctually, since she is a responsible and loyal person. Adela will invest the money she has applied for in the purchase of organic compost to scatter among her plantings of corn, which she will soon harvest.
