A loan of $1,200 helped to buy more cell phones.

Fidela's story

Fifty-eight year old Fidela is a hard-working woman. She lives with her husband Víctor and her children, whom she cares for in the house she bought a few years ago. She is a very tough woman; she likes to work and for her work to be of quality.

She hails from the north of the country. She got married and came to live in Huancayo. She has always worked, though to a lesser degree. The years went by and she didn't get left behind. For a while she worked selling vegetables at a market stand and also sold apple juice, but for health reasons.

Four years have passed since then, and now she makes a living selling cell phones of all levels of quality and price, as well as accessories and technical service. She says that her business is going very well, above all because she always tries to find novelties and the latest in technology.

She belongs to the solidarity group "la florida." She feels empowered since she gets help to move her business forward. For that, she promises to be punctual in her payments. Furthermore, she likes to work with her group because they are responsible and supportive people. Fidela will invest the money in the purchase of more cell phones of all levels of quality for selling.
