Shahin is 43 years old. He lives with his wife and four children aged 5, 13, 15 and 17. Three of them are in school. He runs an agricultural business. In particular, he has three milk cows whose milk is used in milk products. Also, he sells cattle that he buys as calves, fattens and resells locally at a good price. Shahin is a very hardworking man with 17 years experience in his business. In future, he plans to increase his number of breeding animals.
He requested a loan to purchase one milk cow. This will increase the income of the family. This cow will provide him with more milk produce and earn extra income that will improve his living standards and pay for his children’s education.
Lack of a readily available market and his own land to graze animals are his major challenges in farming.
