A loan of $500 helped to buy sugar, oil, rice, beans, toilet paper, soap, soda, etc.

Juana Yadira's story

Juana is 45 years old and single with two older children, one of whom is studying at university. She is originally from Boaco. She is a businesswoman and has a small grocery store.

She began her career in business by selling cosmetics, but she later realized that the business was not very profitable. She decided to launch another business, her grocery store, from which she has earned a better income. She has regular customers, which has allowed her to increase her sales. She is able to count on other earnings from her job, and her daughter helps her with the administration of the store. She hopes to grow her business in order to buy more products which she does not currently have in her inventory.

Juana is asking for financing to buy sugar, oil, rice, beans, toilet paper, soap, sodas, and other products. She estimates that this loan will help her to buy all of the merchandise which she sells in order to satisfy the needs of her customers. Her plan for the future is to expand her business to have greater sales opportunities. Her next goal is to buy a glass case to display her products.
