A loan of $625 helped buy a horse.

Juan Antonio's story

35-year old Juan is a native of the community of Boaquito, Santa Lucia. He has a son who is in grade three. To earn his living Juan grows maize and beans. At first he worked for other people but then decided to set up by himself. He used his own money to start out but his income didn’t cover all his expenses. As a result he looked for another business and now sells milk in the town of Sebaco, the best place for commerce in his area.

Juan needs a loan to buy a horse to help him transport the milk to his customers and thus avoid extra transportation expenses. His future plans include making improvements to his house and buying a vehicle to transport the milk. His next goal is to buy cream separator.
