Phan's Group's story

Phan is a 58-year-old mother of five children who is originally from the Kror Kor district of Pursat Province. Her daily income comes from raising pigs and growing rice on 1.5 hectares of land. Her husband helps on the farm and also works for another. She is able to earn up to 16,200 KHR per day from the current business, which she has been with for 29 years. Phan’s original loan has supported her business gradually and she has already repaid it. Now, she forms a group of two to seek a new loan. As the group leader, Phan is going to spend her portion on the harvesting fee and pig feed. She hopes to receive high yield and to make more income for her family.
