A loan of $200 helped to buy groceries, toiletries, and beverages to sell.

Nelsa's story

This is Nelsa. She previously accessed an 8,000 PHP loan which she used to purchase a large quantity and variety of groceries and other products for her business. Her earnings helped her to pay for her children’s education and her family's personal, household, and business expenditures. She and her husband work hard to continuously support their family's needs.

She would like to apply for another 8,000 PHP loan to buy groceries, toiletries, beverages, and other products to add to her inventory. The more items displayed at the store the better because having more items to sell will result in more profit. The profits from her business will definitely help sustain her family’s daily needs and pay for her children’s education. She looks forward to this financial improvement with a thankful and happy heart.

Nelsa hopes to have good health and dreams to send all of her children to school. She faithfully meets with her co-fellowship* members to share stories of her work every week and also draw strength and inspiration from her study of the Word of God.

*All CCT community partners/clients are organized into fellowship groups that meet on a weekly basis. A fellowship group is composed of 15 to 30 community partners. The fellowship groups gather each week to study the Word of God, build social capital, and repay Micro Finance loans.
