A loan of $1,175 helped to buy a dairy cow.

Mirian Jimena's story

Mirian is 30 years old. She completed high school at the technical level. She and her husband have a daughter in primary school in the public school system where she lives in the southern zone of Itocta in the city of Cochabamba, Bolivia, which is one of the major dairy zones.

Currently she lives in her mother’s home, who is sick. Her husband went to Spain in search of better working conditions, because he could not earn enough to save in Bolivia.

Currently she is working with livestock. She has one heifer and three milk producing cows. The company PIL delivers the milk on her behalf.

The loan that she is asking for is to buy a dairy cow in order to increase milk production, as she wants to create a farm so that her husband can come back to work with her and does not have to be so far from the family.
