A loan of $1,250 helped to buy products for the school season.

Reina Lucía's story

Reina is 50, she is a woman that doesn't get paralized by life's challenges, she is always looking for new opportunities that allow her to grow and learn. "there is always light after darkness" is the phrase Reina used to tell us how she came up with the idea to start a business. After her husband lost his job, they decided to invest the severance payment in the start of a business; they adapted some of the rooms in their home and began selling school supplies because of a school that is close to their house. Later on they invested profits in buying clothing and shoes, and they now have a larger store that they manage. Today they request a loan that will be used to buy school season products with the goal to increase sales and generate more income that allows them to have a better quality of life.
