Bashiran's story

Ms. Bashiran is 42-year-old active, married woman. She has been efficiently running a business of hand-embroidery at her home for the last five years. Her collection is very famous in her town. She has gotten a lot of appreciation from her community members. She makes enough to lead a decent life, as her husband’s income as a laborer is not sufficient to meet everyday expenditures of the household. She is a loving mother of five children. She is in charge of providing her family with good food, health and education. She has slowly but surely improved her business by taking loans from the Kashf Foundation. Now she has requested a loan of PKR 20,000 to purchase spools of thread and packs of sequins, glitter and pearls in different colors to complete customers' orders on time. She desires to spend part of the income on providing good quality education to her children.
