A loan of $400 helped to buy a larger quantity of sodas, beers and ice-creams to continue selling from her house.

July's story

July, 41 years old, is a happy, friendly and hardworking woman with a strong desire to do well. July lives in her own house. She bought this thanks to her continual hard work, and lives with her partner Julio, who works in construction, and her two children, who are 18 and eight years old. Her children are her greatest loves and her motivation to put in so much effort every day, so that she can provide them with the best of everything.

July works selling cold drinks, like soda and beer and tasty ice-creams made with tropical fruits by a reputable brand. For this, she has a freezer to display the drinks and a display case, provided by the distributor, for the ice-creams. She runs her business out of a room in her house that has been set-up for this purpose and she has been doing this for 11 years. Alone she serves her customers in a friendly manner. She loves her job as it means she is at home to tend to her children and she can support her partner with the household bills. Having seen the positive results she is having and the profits that her work is providing, July has decided to continue to develop the business. She has plans to expand and to open a store selling groceries and other products. This is her 17th loan with MFP and she is very happy to have financial support as she now feels more sure about moving forward in her work. At the same time, she promises, once again, to repay her loan on time, as she has done previously. She is comfortable working with the communal bank as all its members are responsible and supportive. With the loan of 1000 Nuevo Soles, July with buy a larger quantity of sodas, beers and ice-creams to continue selling from her house.
