Edwin Andrés's story

Edwin is a young farmer who is 21 years of age. He has engaged in farming since childhood and learned this trade from his father. Edwin currently grows potato and tomato crops. His products are sold on Sundays at the central market in the town of Sonsón, Antioquia, Colombia.

Edwin is a young man who has great plans for success. He says that the only way for him to accomplish his goal is to study, so he decided to attend school on the weekends and spend the rest of his time with his business. His greatest wish is to become a successful professional so that he can manage his crops with greater efficiency, thus resulting in more income that will allow him to provide his family a better quality of life.

With plans of improving production, Edwin is requesting a loan so that he can buy compost and fertilizer. These supplies will allow him to facilitate better production and greater profitability.
