A loan of $200 helped to purchase different kinds of bread as well as new clothing to sell.

Blanca Lidia's story

Blanca sells bread, tamales and snacks. She lives with her two children, both of whom are students. She learned the trade by working with her mother, who is also engaged in the business. Blanca sells different kinds of traditional food and has had her own business for four years.

She is requesting a loan to purchase ingredients for her snacks and different varieties of bread. She will also invest part of the money in new seasonal clothing. This will enable her to have a new source of income.

Blanca’s goal is to expand her business by adding other types of products for sale. She also wants to have her own shop and to continue supporting her children.
