Mercy's story

Mercy is a resident of Kongowea of Coast province, Kenya. She is married and has four children, all of whom attend school. Mercy owns a tailoring shop, a business that she has been running for 22 years. Besides this, she also sells detergents.

Mercy learned about Milango Financial Services from an employee; she joined the institution with an aim of accessing credit to improve the operations of her business. Her main challenge is bad debt.

Mercy is applying for a loan of KES 32,600 (Kenya shillings) to purchase materials and sewing equipment, like needles, thread, etc., and raw materials/chemicals to make detergents.
