Qarat-ul-Nisa is a 47-year-old responsible housewife. She lives with her husband and 2 sons in Punjab, Pakistan. She wants to open a new general store for her son; however, due to financial constrains she is facing some hurdles. She has requested a loan from Kiva's partner, BRAC Pakistan, to purchase a variety of products like flour, rice, biscuits, chips, candies, etc. for her son's general store. This will help her son to add a variety of products in the new store which will increase his savings and income as well.
