A loan of $500 helped to buy clothing for resale.

Brenda Maria's story

Brenda is 30 years old, lives in Estelí, and has a son. She sells clothing, shoes, wallets, and girdles. Even though she studied systems engineering, she doesn’t work in that field because of the scarcity of work. She was looking for a way to earn a daily living by selling clothing on foot and in time opened a small clothing store. Now she lives off of this business and pays for her son’s education. During this season her clothing and shoe sales is very good and she needs to stock her business, so she is asking for a loan to buy clothing, shoes, wallets, and girdles of different styles and colors. Her next goal is to expand her store with a greater variety of merchandise and move her son ahead.
