A loan of $500 helped to buy men’s and women’s pants.

Miguel Ramon's story

Miguel lives in Teustepe in the Boaco municipality, and he sells used clothes. He has three children, ages 8, 12, and 1. He started selling clothes in an itinerant manner six years ago. He had a little savings that he invested in selling used clothes.

He travels to the different districts and towns looking for customers. He sells his merchandise for cash and for credit. His wife takes care of the house and the children. He is the breadwinner in the family.

In the future he hopes to be able to set up a large store where, in addition to selling clothes, he will sell shoes, sheets, pillows, and different household items.

He wants to buy a small piece of land to pass on to his children and for them to able to live with a decent roof over their heads.

He is requesting the loan to buy men’s and women’s pants like jeans and dress pants.
