A loan of $600 helped to buy soybean hulls to feed her dairy cows.

Mery's story

Mery, age 30, lives in the Quillacollo province, Vinto municipality, Cochabamba department. She has one child who is dependent upon her. She has been separated from her child’s father for 12 years because he abandoned her. For all of this time, nothing is known about him.

She perseveres with her goals, and she devotes herself to the production of raw milk. She has five years of experience, and that is how she got her school age child ahead. He is a very remarkable student because of his great capacity for learning.

All of her milk production is delivered to PIL’s [industrial milk production plant ] AINPA – CHINCHILLA dairy module.

The reason for this loan is to be able to buy soybean hulls in order to be able to feed her dairy cows. She will do this to get more milk production, and this way she will continue getting her young child ahead.
