A loan of $675 helped to buy livestock feed and to buy grass seed.

Lino's story

Lino is from the region called La Garita. He is married and he has 10 children of whom 9 are married. He makes a living milking cows and also plants corn and beans. He has performed this activity for 15 years. He learned it from his father who was a great producer at that time and who was very good to him. When he died he left him part of the inheritance of land and livestock which today has multiplied and for this his children help him in caring for the cows. The milk that he gets from milking the cows Lino sells here in the same region.

Today Don Lino is requesting this loan to buy livestock feed and to buy grass seed to plant which will be of great help to him since the summer is coming and that period is dry and needs to be prepared for so that the animals don’t suffer. In this way they can produce good milk to sell. One of his plans is to set up a center for selling milk wholesale.
