A loan of $850 helped to buy oil, potatoes, yucca, corn, and a little sales cart.

Maria Lilian's story

María makes a living selling fried potatoes, yucca, and snacks. She lives with her family: her husband, who's retired; their daughter, 19; and a granddaughter, 1. They all contribute to the household expenses. María and an employee have carried out her business every day for three years.

She's requesting a loan to buy supplies to make the dishes: oil, potatoes, yucca, corn, and a little cart to sell from as a street vendor. This will help her strengthen and expand her business, because there are sales opportunities during this season.

Her goal is for her business to help her daughter continue studying in the university. She also wants to have a more profitable business.
