A loan of $600 helped to purchase chickens and pigs.

Pensilvania's story

Pensilvania, 32 years old, is a very hard working woman. She lives with her husband Marcial and her 2 daughters, Jimmy and Any, she takes care of them in the house that she bought 15 years ago. She has lived in the country since she was young, where she learned to farm and raise animals. For this reason when she had a family, they decided to turn these activities into what supported their home. Currently they grow various crops, such as corn, potatoes, and others, in their own fields. Because farming does not provide a consistent daily income she has also started to raise animals such as chickens, sheep, pigs and cows. She takes them to graze early in the morning. She now wants to increase the amount of animals because she has more customers and does not want to disappoint them. In a short time she expects to reach her goals and improve her business. This is the ninth loan with MFP, and she is thankful for the support that she has received. She promises to be timely with her repayments as she has learned to be punctual and honest. Pensilvania will invest the money in the purchase of chickens and pigs to increase her stock.
