A loan of $1,025 helped to buy brooches, earrings, fastenings, rings, pliers, paint, and a drop ceiling for her business and home.

Rosa Ramona's story

Rosa lives in the city of Tegucigalpa. She is single and has no children. She lives with her sister. One year ago, a friend taught her how to make earrings, necklaces, bracelets, and rings, so now she works doing this. Rosa has regular customers, like her co-workers and neighbors from her community. She also sells dried slices of plantain and yucca, among those things. In her free time on the weekends, she works sewing, because she is a very hardworking and responsible person with a great desire to advance. She is applying for the loan to buy brooches, earrings, fastenings, rings, pliers, paint, and a drop ceiling. These last two things are for making improvements to her home, like painting it and changing the drop ceiling. Rosa has several orders for the Christmas season and with this loan, she hopes to invest more in her business and make an income that allows her to improve her quality of life and that of her family.
