Asia's Group's story

Asia, a 35-year-old, hardworking woman, lives in Pakistan with her husband and 6 children. Her husband operates a welding shop. His income is insufficient to meet the family's needs, so Asia is trying to help him fulfill their needs by providing embroidery services in her community. She has excellent embroidery skills. She wants to generate more income by purchasing some embroidery materials like, threads, needles etc.
For this Asia is a member of a 7-member lending group that has requested a loan from Kiva's partner BRAC Pakistan to purchase necessary things for her business to satisfy the needs of her clients more professionally. She hopes, with the help of the loan, to reach her desired net income and be able to save for their future. She dreams of giving her children a quality education. She will extend her business if she gets a good amount of profit in the future.
