Brizonia Maria's story

Brizonia Maria is 27 years old; she is in a common law marriage and has four children. She lives with her partner and children in the city of Ventanas, province of Los Rios.

She is a member of “The Truth Will Set Us Free” communal bank, located in the Caimito 1 area, part of the Pueblo Viejo neighborhood. The members are in agriculture and in cattle raising.

Brizonia Maria is in agriculture and grows corn and rice. She needs a loan to buy fertilizers, urea, seeds, liquid plague killer, and ranger (a type of herbicide).

With the loan she will be able to buy the agricultural products that she needs for her crops. The challenges that she faces are plagues on her plants. Brizonia Maria’s dream is to buy land and a home. During her free time she enjoys doing household chores.
