A loan of $3,425 helped a member to purchase rice.

Paix De Jesus 4, 5 & 6 Group's story

Aristilde is the coordinator of his group Paix de Jesus 4, 5 & 6. He is married and has two children. He lives in northern Haiti, where electricity is rare and water is very limited.

For the last seven years, Aristilde has run his grocery business selling rice, peas, and other goods. He would like to use this loan to invest, so as to bolster his business. He thinks that this loan will help him to have a larger business.

Other members of his group have need of a loan for businesses, such as selling charcoal, general merchandise, cosmetics, and grocery items. Aristilde says that his main challenges include the lack of sales, that too many people have asked him for credit, and the lack of economic activity.

In this group: Aristilde, Veunise, Elvie, Suzenie, Levenschalina, Nadia, Nadegepettfere, Pedro, Tanis, Mariemonique, Suzette, Ketty, Kedane, Philosanne, Annette
