Gilberto Emeregildo's story

Gilberto is 54 years old and in a civil union. He has two children, and he lives with his wife and children in the rural community of Zapotal Nuevo in the Ventanas canton of the Los Ríos province.

He belongs to Los Amigos ("The Friends") community bank, which is located in the rural community of Zapotal Nuevo in the Ventanas canton. Its members make their living in agricultural work and livestock. Gilberto makes his living in agriculture, cultivating corn and raising barnyard animals such as chickens and ducks.

With the loan, he will be able to buy inputs such as: fertilizers, manure, insecticides to avoid plagues and diseases, as well as balanced feed for the animals. He will make the purchases in the city of Ventanas. His dream is to buy some land. In his free time, he likes to play volleyball.
