A loan of $500 helped to buy tools for their home gas installation business.

Maria's story

María is married. Her husband is a gas installer, and they have two children. They live in a rented house, occupying three rooms. It has fine finishing touches and a wood floor. The house is located in the Ciudad Satélite area of the city of El Alto. María has a degree, and she is currently a teacher. In addition, her husband has a gas installation business with which they cover the expenses for rent, electricity, water, sewers, and food.

She needs the loan to buy tools for gas installation (Crescent wrenches to use on the pipes and soldering torches).

María’s dream is, together with her husband, to make his business grow. This way their income will improve so that they can have a better quality of life.

This is the fourth loan she has requested from IMPRO and the first one with Kiva.
