Maria's story

María is a 35 year old woman that lives in the city of Atuntaqui. She has two children that live with her, her husband, and his children. María is defined as a cheerful, honest, respectful, hardworking woman. María decided long ago to start a business that could help her husband financially. For this reason, she devoted herself to the raising and selling of animals, with good results, improving the quality of life for her family.

The loan requested from FODEMI will be invested in buying Guinea pigs to raise and then sell. In addition, she will invest in the adequacy of the cages where the Guinea pigs will live. María is convinced that investing in her business will bring her more income since it is doing better every day.

María wants to fulfill her dream to have a large hatchery of chickens and Guinea pigs, and to be a small business distributor for the markets it her city. This will help the education of her children.
