Pradeep's story

Pradeep is a resident of the town of Khurda, in Odisha. He is 34 years old and staying with his parents, wife and children. He has been supporting his family through the income earned from a small vegetable and grocery store. He sells food items like potatoes, onions, wafers, green vegetables, detergents, rice, wheat flour, snacks, spices, electric bulbs and other household items in his village. He has had it for the last eight years. He needs a loan of 30,000 INR in order to buy more stock of snacks, spices and other household necessities like toilet cleaners, mosquito repellents and wafers for his shop. He says there is good demand for mosquito repellents and sanitizers as mosquito borne diseases are very widely prevalent in his village.
