Arminita's story

Arminita, 37 years old, is an enterprising and charismatic woman who has a desire for self-improvement. She is a widow and has three children, 25, 23, and 18 years old, who she loves very much and are her inspiration to keep going. They live in their own home which they constructed with the support of her partner. The work that Arminita does is the sale of second-hand clothing for women, men, and children, for every occasion, which she carries out in a store inside her own house and a stand in the market. She is very much in demand with her neighbors, friends, and family members for her kind and cordial manner when she tends to them and the quality of her garments. She buys all of her merchandise in the capital. She began her work with her own capital. She has performed this work alone for more than eight years’ time during which time she became well-known, managing to make her portfolio of regular customers grow. So far, her daughter has supported her.

Also, she considers her business fairly profitable because of the profits that are left to her and the demand for her products, managing to sell everything that she has available.

On the other hand, she says that she began in this business because of her desire to count on income of her own, to feel independent, and to not depend on the income of her partner, as well as to have the power to support him with the household expenses. Achieving good results, she hopes that her business grows and with the profits opens a convenience store in her home. Therefore, this will be loan number ten with the institution MFP. She says that she is thankful for the opportunity to have a line of credit to realize her plans. She promises to fulfill her payments as she has in previous loans, and therefore have a good credit record and access to more loans in the future.
She will invest the full amount requested of 1000 Nuevos Soles in the purchase of her merchandise, like second-hand clothing in a variety of sizes and models, for women, men, and children. All of this merchandise will be bought in large quantities, looking for low prices for her purchases. That way, she will have larger profits.
