A loan of $2,750 helped a member to buy a range of products to sell.

Kenbe Fem Group's story

Jeantilia is the coordinator of the 'Kenbe Fem' group. She is not married but has two children. She lives in the town of Paulette, in Haiti, where electricity is rare and water is scarce. Jeantila has been running her business for the last six years.

Jeantilia would like to use this loan to invest in buying a range of products including shoes, bags and accessories. She hopes that this loan will help her to grow her business. The other members of the Kenbe Fem group need a loan for their businesses which include: selling charcoal, rice and fish. Jeantilia says that her main challenge is a lack of steady customers.

In this group: Jeantilia, Charlicia, Nanie, Eliphete, Clotide, Degeline, Micheline*, Altagrace*, Elliot, Rene, Roselourdes, Moliere*, Rosecledana, Antoine, Elvincia
