A loan of $1,500 helped to build troughs.

Lilian Carminia's story

Lilian, 29, is married to Dany. They have two children in elementary school who depend on their income. Lilian and her family are very close, and she managed to get a small house of her own thanks to the sacrifice and work of her husband, who had to be far away from the family in Spain for three years.

Lilian and her family live in the community of Mallco Rancho in the city of Cochabamba. Her main activity is producing raw milk, which she sells to a dairy-product business. Her loan is to build troughs because the rainy season is approaching and Lilian wants to protect her cattle by building troughs with a shed.

Among her dreams and goals are continuing to increase her cattle until she has a small farm of at least 30 head and for her children to be able to study for a profession so they can have a better standard of living.
