Asia's story

Ms. Asia is a 27-year-old married woman. She had a difficult time since her husband's business failure. She decided to work with her husband to support her family for a better future. Two years ago she began hand-embroidery in her home. She started her business to generate some income to support the needs of the family. However, due to a lack of availability of funds, she is unable to meet the daily demands of her customers. In order to complete their orders on time, she contacted Kashf Foundation and applied for a loan of PKR 20000. This would help her to buy more spools of thread and packets of sequins, threads and pearls in different colors. She is hoping to increase her net income by completing orders on time.
