The eight members of the SORO YIRIWA group are mainly married women of an average age of 40, with 5 children. They live mostly in monogamous families in Wayerma II which is one of the popular quarters of Sikasso.
This is their second loan with the Soro Yiriwaso microfinance institution with the aim of satisfying their customers.
Assetou sells incense in this group of women and she is sitting in the middle.
With her loan she plans to buy raw materials for the production of incense; that is 30 kg of guéni and magnokisséni perfume. After production, the incense is sold retail for cash through the family to a mostly feminine clientele.
She hopes to make an average monthly profit of 47 500 FCFA part of which will be used to pay back her loan and the remainder will be saved.
Her ambition is to improve her turnover to satisfy her customers better.
Les huit membres du groupe SORO YIRIWA sont essentiellement des femmes mariées ayant une moyenne d’âge de 40 ans, en moyenne 5 enfants et vivant la plupart dans des familles monogames à Wayerma II un des quartiers populaire de la ville de Sikasso.
Elles sont à leur dixième prêt avec l’institution de microfinance Soro Yiriwaso afin de satisfaire le besoin de leur clientèle.
Assetou fait le commerce d’encens dans ce groupe de femmes elle est assise au milieu.
Elle compte acheter avec son prêt de la matière première pour la fabrique de l’encens ; soit 30 kg de guéni, du parfums du magnokisséni. Après fabrication, les ventes sont effectuées en détail sur place en famille à une clientèle composée pour la majeur partie de femmes au comptant.
Elle envisage réaliser un bénéfice mensuel moyen de 47 500 FCFA dont une partie est utilisée pour payer le prêt et son intérêt et l’autre pour son épargne .
Elle ambitionne d’augmenter son chiffre d’affaire pour mieux satisfaire sa clientèle.

Soro Yiriwaso is a microfinance institution that works primarily in rural and semi-urban areas of Mali to provide underprivileged communities with access to financial services.The organization facilitates access for disadvantaged clients, particularly women, to new resources and services, fostering solidarity and cooperation among its clients.
